Paper Route

Last week government had decided to dilute the laws for the marriages. In my respect every law in India needs an amendment. The government had to amend the Hindu Marriage Act and Special Marriage Act. The government's concern was the delaying by courts to grant divorce to couples unwilling to live together. Previously for a divorce , you have fill a petition in the court and then with some legal verifications, you are able to break the shackles. Lawyers used to delay them by months of adjournment to approve or disapprove. Divorce is irretrievable breakdown.In my respect ,the delaying by the courts in the judgement would sometimes helps in regaining back the relationship but now the process is so eased that whenever the couple are unwilling to live together , they just have to sign a paper. The government has provided a paper route through which getting a divorce will be very ease. In cases of couples not having children, divorce by mutual consent filled in writing should be enough reason for a divorce. One of the main cause for diluting the route was ,a number of cases comes without a conclusion. Now all the irretrievable breakdown of marriage will come to a conclusion. But giving laws in the hands , will also bring a change in the attitude towards marriages. Days are not far off when the western culture of living together will become common. People will start preferring to liven relationship instead of marriage. 

Too little Too late 

The world biggest chemical disaster took place on 3rd December 1984, few days after the assassination of  Mrs Indra gandhi . It was a black monday , leading to a blemish remark on the industrial revolution. It was an accident which we can't forgot. Warren Anderson was the man who started a carbide company with the help from Indian government and United States. He along with eight men laid down the foundation in Bhopal. With the increasing demand of carbide, they started manufacturing it on a large scale. As the world is surrounded by money-minders,Anderson decided to cut-off safety requirements which leading to huge profits and faster production . Due to the reduction in safety instruments, this disaster took place on the 2nd December's night. This accident was not a sudden disaster , CEO of the company  ( Warren Anderson ) and all high officials were well aware of the fact , that plant was in a bad condition and further usage can cause an accident. On 25th december 1981 , phosgene gas was leaked killing one worker and many were severally injured. On knowing this accident , company didn't took any steps regarding the safety measures. According to CBI , on the night of december 2, 1984 none of the plant's safety system was working and plant siren was turned off. Company officials were aware that the technology employed in the plant was hazardous. In fact an audit was conducted , which identified that around thirty safety requirements are missing like refrigerators , proper maintenance instruments, supervisors etc. Anderson had a complete knowledge , but still he ignored it. In my respect he had played with the life of so-many people.  According to government statistics twenty thousand people were affected. On 7th June 2010 , the trail of this verdict was declared. The judiciary announced two years of jail for eight men who found guilty and freeing Anderson and Union Carbide Corporation , USA from all the charges. On listening this verdict many people around the world felt humiliated. Reducing the disaster to the equivalent to a traffic accident, seems thats judiciary are the puppets in the hands of the businessmen. 

The stratergy paid them quit well , they sold large part of the company to Dow chemicals , which help them to obscure many of the liabilities and charges. According to the financial settlement , 470 million$ were paid to the people who suffered from the disaster. But unfortunately the amount received by an individual was so meager in comparison to the disaster. 

In the verdict , the punishment given is minimal , that itself brings judiciary in the court. Now the victimized families had decided to go to the supreme court for their justice. The supreme court has to take some stringent actions , to give justice to the people and have to set-up an example for other capitalist , that judiciary  will punish the culprits. But its true in this case that its too little , too late. 

There are many factors which are involved for the late judgement like many ministers were involved , CBI made a desultory efforts to extradite Anderson and so many times the charges were revised. This also made difficult for the judge to make a judgement , but announcing punishment for two years is very small in comparison to the disaster. After all it is the common man who has to suffer. 

   "Breathe Out "

Do you know that every breath we take in, is dangerous ? If you stop breathing you will die and if you breath in then also you will die , it is a great dilemma. But what to do in such a situation " Breath in or Breath out " ? 

I would like to highlight some of the points . First bad news - Now a days , cities in India are monitored by air pollution control board on regular basis and most of then are living on the edge. Cosmopolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata has crossed the threholds for poor quality air. Good news- Air pollution which is an irreversible process, seems reversible due to change of fuel and new technology in the automobile industry. Now a days , we are using CNG , which is free from nitrogen dioxide and lead .Petroleum industryis also providing petrol which is free from lead. Previously effluents from vehicles contained lead oxide , which is every harmful for lungs and can cause lungs cancer. Now the big news, roughly 0.1 million people die every year due to air pollution. Air pollution has short-term and long-term health hazards like eye-irritation, headache and breathing problems. According to the statistics, Northern India is more polluted then southern India. In Delhi alone, more than thousand vehicles are added to the city everyday, but on other side number of public transport options have dropped. In Eastern India, the high level of  nitrogen dioxide is one of the major challenges for the government. In past few decades, the level of nitrogen dioxide has shown a marked increase, due to increasing number of steel industries. 

According to Central Pollution Control  Board, PM10 is one of the major components of air pollution. PM10 means particle size less than 10 micron. It is every dangerous as it goes deep into the lungs and can cause lung cancer. It is mainly released from vehicles. Every day thousands of vehicles are added on the road, leading to a disastrous situation.

It is a wake upcall for the government of India, to take some stringent actions and work at the grass root level . NGOs should also take part in this to create awareness. For a healthy life, we need to breath out in a pollution free atmosphere.

Santa, has gone into a depressing  mood after he received a  SMS from IDEA urging him to celebrate Valentine’s Week, even though Santa has been consistently single since he was a high school boy  . Santa has not been talking to anyone since 7th February ( Rose Day)  and even try to hoop off his work. Many believe  that he is in dilemma. “He was cool nice adorable guy.... till 6th feb. Since 7th, he has move into a shell , move in hibernation mood..... itz all because of Valentine's week.
Banta , who is a colleague of santa,  has N- Number of girl friends ( Law of nature everyone is not equal).From morning he was busy making plans..... looking at roses , checking and mailing SMSes . Seeing his roomy santa feels agitated, locked himself .
Santa  opened the door of his room after persistent requests from Banta , But he decided ""   मैं एक सप्ताह के लिए किसी एक के साथ बात नहीं करेंगे. मुझे अकेला छोड़ दो. "
Well banta was fussy checking his mobile and there were numerous SMSes about celebrating Rose Day and Propose Day...... xxxxxx blah blah.... Clearly all these talk about rose and propose has turned him around.
It’s not for the first time when Santa has felt sad  :( .But he has never give up, Santa  has been trying to approach girls for many years but has failed to win a single heart.“He tried everything; he changed his hairstyle , he went gymming, he worked a lot .... but " कटोरा अभी भी खाली था"

How do I imagine life without friends?

 I just can’t imagine it without the ones, whom I can trust, relieve my feelings to them expecting to hear a sincere advice, share both happiness and the most sorrowful moments without any doubt . Only close friends can make me smile and feel better even the most stressful day!  :)  They won’t let me feel miserable and depressed, insistently trying to cheer me up as much as it’s possible!

I totally agree with the idea that the main reason why friends are so important for us is not our concrete need for help, but knowing that we would immediately get that help is the most important! What i a believe, is that if you want to be certain that the person you consider your friend is your true friend, go to the mountains with him and you will see! A true friend won’t leave you in trouble.

Life Without "ORKUT"

WHAT!!
I was Watching BBC,when they told that orkut server is hacked and soon there will be no ORKUT. Oh Jesus !! ..... I thought the world might come to a crashing halt, when life without Orkut is Similar to  Life without a Gf  :(
We Do orkut to keep in touch with friends and in search of new ones.In Mid-June I was invited to a Orkut group with people dedicated to giving it up for Lent. I have never observed Lent before, but I thought it sounded interesting and challenging. And so I looked up Lent and it’s significance, and thought it was a great idea.The “connections”, the people I keep in touch with (and that’s about it) and the people whom I actually connect with outside of Orkut. "Naye Duniya Naye Doost" What a life .... But Life without orkut is like Sucking Pleasure !!!!

A Walk TO Remember

Last Night, i spoke to a kismat connected friend ( friends by destiny ). And I realised I can never open up in front of so many new friends. I've made the way I can with the old ones. With a few new people there is always a fear...a fear that they will judge me based on my actions on one day, one meeting or..................
A fear that they will not really see other things about me, but just that one moment.

This Reminds me of a sentence :

"I love my new friends dearly, but it's comforting to be around people who already know your stories and tell you exactly what they think of you, who know when you've made a mistake."

Its good to make friends while traveling around the world.
That's just how I feel about my life today....

"God Knows?"

After a boring and dull day as always, there was a TIME class, i was tired and feels like bunking the first class itself. But after getting so many misycalls, i decided " Chalo Class Kar lete ha "
It was 6 o'clock in the evening , when i started off . I managed to reach in time.
The class was full of GMATs , always occupying the 1st bench.
Finally , i managed to find a seat for myself ( last row last seat),Still happy.
Reason,i am an active Member of backbencher's association( MBA).
Suddenly ,An ogre like Creature(Instructor) Entered ..........

Ogre:So u guys are from NIT?
Class: yes
Ogre:I have attempted CAT 7 times and still in hunt of it.
Me(prompting): abe , the person who himself is in search of CAT is teaching US?
Friend(next to me): He is a DOG who has never tasted the CAT?
Me: Lets see.... (Jaaane kya hoga Gamare.... Ramare )
Ogre: But friends u don't worry , because I am the most experience person ."Failures are the best guiders".


In meanwhile, the Most beautiful lady enters(Dhak Dhak)......Manju(student's receptionist) distributing the hand-outs(Distracting Many of US ) ,told ... .that there are 30 questions to be solved in 30 minutes, and if anyone has any problem , meet me outside the class.
GUESS What Happened ?
Everyone was OUTSIDE.


Meanwhile,Instructor (angrily) came out and said that he is not going to teach such rowdy students.
Friend(next to me) : nobody wants a goofy teacher.
Instructor left the class. Everyone was looking here and there, But the class was over.First Step towards MBA , was over.... [:(]
I could feel what he was going through but I couldn't stop laughing [:)]
